SONAE MEDIA ART AWARD

Visual identity, editorial and motion design for the 2017 and 2019 Sonae Media Art Award.
The Sonae Media Art Award is the largest Portuguese project to encourage art production in the area of ​​new media, focusing on artistic work built from disciplinary intersection.
Its main objective is to establish itself as an incentive to national artistic creation in the filed of ​​media art. An area whose importance has become more acute within the context of international contemporary art.
The award is aimed at forms of contemporary creation that use digital and electronic mediums, ranging from image to sound, including exploring the video medium, film, computing, audio and mixed-media, in which other art forms such as performance, dance, film, theatre or literature may be incorporated.

This award results from a partnership between MNAC-The Portuguese National Museum of Contemporary Art and Sonae.
Created in 1911, the National Museum of Contemporary Art’s mission is to investigate and disseminate the history and Portuguese artistic creation from 1850 to the present day.
Sonae is a multinational company managing a diversified portfolio of businesses in retail, financial services, technology, shopping centres and telecommunications.
